Our pearl-backed mahjong tiles are made with a beautiful pearlescent material that can naturally deepen or shift in color with prolonged exposure to UV light or direct sunlight.
This is an inherent characteristic of pearl acrylic materials and is not unique to our tiles.
To preserve their original color, we recommend storing your tiles in their case and away from direct sunlight when not in use.
As with many specialty materials, slight changes over time are part of their natural beauty and do not attect the playability of your tiles.
